There have been some groups who have tried to scrub the subs in the past, but none were able to get through the entire series. So this is a joint release with Bereke for the complete series of Kamen Rider Amazon, to be released weekly in four-episode batches.Īs some of you may have noticed, the only way up until now to watch Amazon with English subs was through Hi no Tori’s hardsubs of the show that used pretty atrocious quality video. Surprise! Something Showa finally makes it onto Earthly Subs… kinda. ![]() UPDATE: All episodes and bonus content have been released and a series batch can be find above. The booklet does contain spoilers just fyi, but that should be obvious.īig thanks to the following for helping make this possible: Ultimately I think it’s a good little data base for all the monsters, and still makes for a great guide as to which monster is based off which previous Sentai mecha, since info online regarding this information is sometimes inaccurate. Regardless, I had already started working on it, and I thought I may as well finish it with whatever facts I could find about the monsters and what they did in the show. Most of the notes from the concept designer, Tamotsu Shinohara, boil down to “oh, and I based it off this mecha btw”. Unfortunately, the information about what went into deciding the mecha to base the design, and the little details that were included to pay homage to that mecha are quite scarce. This was something I wanted to make to compile all the monsters that appear in the show and go over how they are each inspired by previous Sentai mecha. It wasn’t necessary to include, but Adam from Kadam’s Edits did such a great job with it that I just had to preserve it somehow. The fan-made trailer I posted on my Twitter to announce the fansub is also included in this release. I have uploaded the complete collection of the TV rips to Internet Archive so that they won’t be at risk of becoming lost media again. But until Toei decides to release them in HD, this is the best we’ve got (fingers crossed for a Boukenger Blu-Ray someday). But we got them, and they are all included in this release fully subbed! Just keep in mind, that they are TV rips, so the quality is no where near as good and the Amazon raws. I don’t want to get into how much trouble it was finding nearly two decade old TV rips of this show was, but the short story is that we found a Korean site that still had rips available and went to hell and back in order to pay to download them. ![]() And they only ever played during the original TV broadcast of the show, never released elsewhere. These segments commemorate the 30th anniversary by having the Boukengers go over previous Super Sentai and staples of the franchise. Now, the 30 Sentai Encyclopedia segments. Any time you hear an insert, just switch to the second subtitle track and it will display the translated lyrics in the left corner.Ģ, 5, 6, 7, 16, 19, 20, 24, 29, 34, 36, 38, 39, 40, 42, 43, 46, 48. We’ve also gone ahead and translated all the Insert Songs that appear in the show. It would be too much to go over, but just know that a lot has been changed and cleaned up, so you’ll be getting the best experience with this sub. Things like names of Precious, villains, mecha, locations, etc are all more accurately translated, and that’s not even mentioning the general dialogue now sounding more natural and snappier. This is a full re-translation of the show, so if you have my old release, I encourage you to replace it with this one. But luckily, Boukenger is amazing so I wasn’t complaining. ![]() Which pretty much made this a completely new project, for what was supposed to be a simple re-release. So a new translation was to be made, and that meant they needed to be edited, which Glenn happily agreed to do. But once I started, I realized that there were quite a few mistranslations in my old scripts, and after Flame took a look at them, he noticed even more lines that were mistranslated. Okay where to start… To be honest, this release was really just supposed to be my old scripts slapped onto new raws that were ripped from Amazon Prime Video (these raws have a lot better bitrate then the TTFC once that I used in my last release, and they aren’t cropped like the old ones were). This release include episodes 1-49, Promo, Summer Movie, VS Super Sentai Movie, the 30 Sentai Encyclopedia segments, a fan-made trailer, as well as a fan-made “Negative Syndicate Archives” booklet! We’re back with an all new re-translation of GoGo Sentai Boukenger. It now also includes ep 40, which was missing in the previous torrent. UPDATE: A new torrent is now available that fixes the issues with episodes 1,2,3,4 and 18.
